DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire an entry-level support position in our fourth line repair and overhaul facility in North York. The specific job duties of a shop gofer can vary depending on the company and the industry, but generally, they include tasks:
Running errands: Delivering materials, tools, or equipment to different parts of the shop, as needed.
Assisting technicians: Providing support to technicians and machinists, including helping to set up and operate equipment, fetching tools or materials, and cleaning up the work area.
Cleaning and organizing: Keeping the shop clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing materials and tools.
Inventory management: Assisting with the tracking and management of inventory, including restocking supplies, checking in and labeling materials, and maintaining accurate records.
Data entry: Entering data into computer systems, including order tracking and timekeeping.
General maintenance: Performing general maintenance tasks, such as oiling and cleaning equipment, replacing light bulbs, and performing other routine tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
SHOP GOFER:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
